This extension does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Ever.

What data is stored

The extension saves exactly two preferences on your device using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.sync API:

url — the URL to open (default: mail.google.com)
newTab — whether to open in a new tab (default: true)

These preferences are stored locally in your browser. If you are signed into Chrome, they may sync across your own devices via your Google account — this is standard Chrome sync behaviour outside of this extension's control.

What data is NOT collected

The extension does not collect, store, or transmit:

browsing history
personal information
usage statistics
crash reports
identifiers of any kind

There are no analytics, no tracking pixels, no third-party SDKs, and no network requests made by this extension.

Permissions

The extension requests a single permission:

storage — to save your two preferences above

No host permissions, tab read access, or any other capability is requested.
